Analytic Perturbation Theory and New Analysis of some QCD observables

چکیده
Here, we report briefly two topics: 1) The latest version of “Analytic Perturbation Theory” (APT) devised recently for the QCD observables both in the Euclidean and Minkowskian regions. 2) Results of the APT–based calculation for some physical processes. 1 The APT — a closed theoretical scheme The new APT version [1, 2] mutually relates two ghost–free formulations of modified perturbation expansions for observables. The first one, initiated about two decades ago [3, 4], changes the standard power expansion in the time-like region Rpt(s) = 1 + rpt(s) ; rpt(s) = ∑ k≥1 rk αs (s; f) into a nonpower one rpt(s) → rπ(s) = ∑ k≥1 dk Ak(s, f) . Here, αs(s) is a common, e.g., 3–loop QCD invariant/running coupling (usually in the MS scheme – see eq.(9.5a) in Ref. [5]); and Ak, some integral images of the αs powers: Ak(s) = R [

Spectrality, coupling constant analyticity and the renormalization group
Analytic structure in the strong coupling constant that emerges for some observables in QCD after duality averaging of renormalization group improved amplitudes is discussed. It is shown that perturbation theory calculations are justified for the proper observables related to the two-point correlators of hadronic currents the analytic properties of which are well-established. A particular case ...
متن کاملAnalytic Perturbation Theory in analyzing some QCD observables
The paper is devoted to application of recently devised ghost–free Analytic Perturbation Theory (APT) for analysis of some QCD observables. We start with the discussion of the main problem of the perturbative QCD — ghost singularities and with the resume of this trouble solution within the APT. By a few examples in the various energy and momentum transfer regions (with the flavor number f = 3, ...
متن کاملAnalytic Perturbation Theory for QCD observables
The connection between ghost–free formulations of RG–invariant perturbation theory in the both Euclidean and Minkowskian regions is investigated. Our basic tool is the “double spectral representation”, similar to the definition of Adler function, that stems from first principles of local QFT. It relates real functions defined in the Euclidean and Minkowskian regions. On this base we establish a...

We describe the generalization of Analytic Perturbation Theory (APT) for QCD observables, initiated by Radyushkin, Krasnikov, Pivovarov, Shirkov, and Solovtsov, to fractional powers of coupling — Fractional APT (FAPT). The basic aspects of FAPT are shortly summarized. We describe how to treat heavy-quark thresholds in FAPT and then show how to resum perturbative series in both the one-loop APT ...
متن کاملanQCD: A Mathematica package for calculations in general analytic QCD models (new version announcement)
We provide a Mathematica package that evaluates the QCD analytic couplings (in the Euclidean domain) Aν(Q), which are analytic analogs of the powers a(Q) of the underlying perturbative QCD (pQCD) coupling a(Q) ≡ αs(Q)/π, in three analytic QCD models (anQCD): Fractional Analytic Perturbation Theory (FAPT), Two-delta analytic QCD (2δanQCD), and Massive Perturbation Theory (MPT). The analytic (hol...
